Crystal Jean Johnson

On January 19, 2022, Crystal Jean Johnson’s life changed forever. A devastating Pontine Stroke left her completely incapacitated. She couldn’t breathe on her own… and doctors didn’t expect her to survive.

But Crystal is a fighter. She held on. She refused to give up. And when she woke up… we discovered something incredible—her memory was intact. Mentally, she was still the Crystal we all know and love.

From spring breaks at New Smyrna Beach to Alabama summers selling watermelons at the state fair, Crystal and I covered a lot of ground together.

From counting routines during tumbling with the Winter Park High School competitive cheer team, to dress shopping for homecoming and prom — Crystal was always one of the funniest, most energetic girls I knew.

Full of life, spunky, and absolutely stunning, Crystal went on to become an incredibly talented hairstylist. She built her own business, The Blonde Empire, specializing in blonde color and custom hand-sewn extensions.

Over the years, we worked together on countless fashion events — me with my event company and fashion line, and Crystal doing hair and makeup, sometimes even sharing the runway with the other models. She’s always been a true stunner.

But now, Crystal needs our help. We’re asking for any contribution, no matter the amount. If you’re able to support her in getting the physical therapy she needs, we would be beyond grateful.

Since that day, through sheer determination and relentless therapy, Crystal has come off the respirator. She’s regained movement in her arms and legs. She’s fighting every single day to walk again… to talk again… to reclaim her life.

But the road ahead is long. She’s working tirelessly, and we—her family, her friends—are doing everything we can to support her.

Now, we turn to you. Our community. Your support, your prayers… they mean everything.

Crystal’s journey isn’t over. And with your help… she’ll keep fighting.

Thank you
